This newcomer to the Ebisu dining scene has added some
sound to its eclectic mix of Asian and European dishes with the launch of
DJ nights in November. Guests to the swanky eatery can now relax to the
sounds of house, garage, jazz and samba spun by resident DJs during the
week and guest DJs on Friday and Saturday nights.

Comfort food gets a South Pacific twist this season as
Trader Vics unveils its healthy winter lunch menu. The four-course menu
includes a chestnut, celery root and apple soup, watercress, endive and
smoked-chicken salad, and seafood cioppino followed by a chocolate pecan
cake. At 3,900 per person, the special menu is available until Feb 28
with the exception of Jan 1-3, Sundays and holidays.

SanSonoma
Wine buffs can prepare for the festive season with the help
of SanSonoma, which will be offering wine tastings and sales at two hip
restaurants in December. Omotesandos Fujimamas will hold the first
event on Dec 3 from 12-8pm, followed by The Pink Cow in Harajuku on Dec 20
from 8pm. The Dec 3 event is free of charge, but The 12 Wines of
ChristmasEevent on Dec 20 costs 6,000 with RSVP or 6,500 at the
door for tastings and a holiday buffet complete with turkey.
