Wine buffs should head to Roti in Roppongi for the November 7 wine tasting party. In addition to their regular selection of brasserie food and live jazz the tasting will feature 30 wines from Sansonoma. The tasting will be JY6000 per person with a reservation and JY6500 for tickets on the day.

Volga
Russian restaurant Volga will welcome winter with a new selection of dishes that form the new course menus. Diner can choose three items for JY4800 or 5 dishes for JY6800. New menu items range from fritter of fresh oyster with champagne vinegar tartar, Russian bouillabaisse with a pastry hat, venison in red currant sauce and rare chocolate tart with half dried fruits.

Trader Vic�s brings a touch of the Wild West to Tokyo with their Texas cowboy fair. The special prix fixe menu (JY12,000) features beef jerky soup, Perini ranch salad and jalepeno cheese cake (!). A la carte appetizers include trail blazing beef stew (JY2300), nachos (JY1500) and chili beans (JY1900), while liquid options range from mesquite-a-rita (JY1200) to Perini martinis (JY1100).
