In the fall, Japan goes mushroom mad and the Hotel Okuras Camelia Corner will join
the fungal fray with its mushroom fair, which runs until the end of October. The healthy
menu plays on the current boom for champignon based on their high levels of Vitamins B1,
B2 and D. Dishes include Italian style marinated mushrooms (¥1500), mushroom mouse in a
port sauce (¥1900) and entrees such as sautéed chicken with mushroom gratin and Madera
sauce (¥2100) and Fish of the day with maitake sauce (2800).

Aoyuzu
In a labyrinth of moodily lit rooms beneath the streets of Ebisu, this swank new eaterie
offers Ebisu residents a taste of the high-life. An eclectic menu that draws on French,
Italian, Japanese and Chinese influences and surprisingly manages to execute each cuisine
with flair and authenticity. Relax among the roses and tropical fish with sushi rolls,
spring rolls and rolled prosciutto and a yuzu monogatari (gin, ginger ale and fresh yuzu).

Shichimi-dori
From its original restaurant perched over Inokashira park, this Kichijoji-favorite has
spread its wings to bring its uniquely seasoned signature chicken wings and fresh izakaya
fare to most of the city. Now the chain moves into Shibuya with momoyaki (grilled chicken
thighs). Course menus start at ¥3000 and a la carte dishes are centered on yakitori and
fresh tofu.
