the Pan Pacific's healthy cocktail promotion. The hotel's bartending staff has concocted
five unique non-alcoholic cocktails to accompany the light meals on offer at the
Sommerhouse Lounge until Oct 31. If you're thinking they might be hard to swallow, rest
assured that the staff attests they're smooth, drinkable and delicious.

In Japan cows go "mo-mo," hence the moniker of this popular shabu shabu chain
with a new branch in Kichijoji. Offering all-you-can-eat shabu shabu and sukiyaki from
¥1500, the restaurant is part of the Wondertable group who operate other meaty
establishments such as Omotesando's Barbacoa. A third new restaurant is set to open in
Jiyugaoka on Oct 2 and the Shinjuku west exit branch was recently renewed.

This new pizzeria recently brought an authentic taste of Italy to Jiyugaoka. Its title is
taken from the Florentine dialect for "papa" coupled with the owner Angelos's
name. Specializing in homecooked fare, the restaurant will offer staples such as Pizza
Sciciliana and focaccia along with imported Italian beers in a light modern setting.
