Hibariya
Chinese, Japanese and Korean flavors meld in Hibariya' East Asian cuisine. Featured
dishes include crab and avocado salad (JY980), shrimp and cuttlefish fritter with an
original sweet and sour sauce (JY1200), and spicy chicken satay with peanut dressing and
spicy vinegar sauce (JY820) make up the menu. This new addition to Daikanyama's fusion
scene, done up with fun house mirrors and shots from Wan Kar Wai's films, also has private
rooms and a wafu-style loft for small, intimate dining.

Afternoon Tea Room
To commemorate their 20th anniversary in Tokyo, the Afternoon Tea Room is serving a
special menu made up of items from yore. Dishes from 20 years ago, like their original
spicy chicken curry with homemade pickled vegetables (JY1000), sparkling tea soda (JY750)
and raspberry trifle wine-soaked spongecake (JY700), have been reinvented for the
celebration. Available at all Afternoon Tea Room salons nationwide through Sep 30th.
Thrush Cafe
Until Aug 31 try the all-you-can-eat-and-drink menu at Thrush's summer beer terrace.
Choose from over ten Southeast Asian dishes made from mostly organic vegetables and five
beers. Unlike most buffets, you order at your table and the staff brings the dishes right
to you, so you don't have to keep getting up to get more food. Buffet items include tom
yam kung, lamb cous cous, rice pilaf with herbs, vegetarian green curry, tomato and
mozzarella salad, etc. Available only for dinner from 6-10pm, JY3500 per person.
