Satsuki Coffee Shop in the main lobby of the New Otani is running their annual ice cream event, this time with the Paris cafe in mind. Coupe Pierre Herme aux macarons glaces that includes three frozen macaroons with your choice of three ice cream or sherbet flavors (JY1200), coupe Faubourg Saint-Honore with chocolate sherbet, caramel ice cream, a caramelized hazelnut merengue (JY1400), coupe Saint-German Des Pres with pistachio ice cream, strawberry and apricot sherbet and cream chante (JY1400) are a few of the divine desserts available. This limited offer ends on August 31.

Hiroo Italian eatery Pizzalia Trattoria Patenope continues the tradition of Neapolitan cuisine with a new branch in Ebisu. In addition to old favorites, new grill and vegetarian dishes, such as vegetable wrapped in tuna with cherry tomato sauce (JY1800), vegetable plate (JY1300) and pizza bianca with rucola and prosciutto (JY1800), make an appearance on the menu. Great news for anti-smokers, there is a non-smoking section-a rarity in this town.
