The Imperial Hotel Celebrates 111
years
The Imperial Hotel's French Restaurant, Les Saisons, will be featuring a commemorative
four-part dinner series starting with a celebration of Mother's Day. Head Chef Kenichiro
Tanaka will prepare a special course menu just for the occasion. The courses will include amuse-bouche,
salade de homard, Breton et crème de choux, fleur au caviar (shrimp salad with
cauliflower and caviar cream sauce), cappuccino aux morilles et girolles fraiches,
cherry brandy granier, roast lamb with garlic and thyme, white asparagus and
tomato confetti, assorted cheeses, peach mousse and coffee (JY20,000). The Mothers
Day special is only available on May 12 so make a reservation.

Anniversaire CafE
Anniversaire CafEcelebrates spring each year with the addition of their avocado shrimp
sandwich, a favorite among regulars. The creamy salad filling and fresh lettuce is wrapped
in pita bread, perfect for a light lunch or afternoon snack. JY800 for two (until Aug 31).

Dogwood Plaza
This two-story building in front of Futakotamagawa station features an array of
restaurants that would satisfy most finicky taste buds. On the first floor choose from
Goemon (Japanese style pasta), Sam Choys Soft Cream shop, Phillies (serving authentic
Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwiches) and CafEContinental Magic - focusing mostly on
European cuisine - serving over 49 dishes at around JY600 each. On the second floor start
with Taco Time for your own little Fiesta, and follow on to Seladon (Vietnamese), Hibariya
(Modern Japanese), Seoul Grill and Parfait Midi to finish your culinary tour with ice
cream and waffles.
