Trader Vic's
Famous for bringing the "Mai Tai" into this world, Trader Vic's, with over 20 branches worldwide, has become an inseparable part of the New Otani Tradition. This spring, Trader Vic's will be serving their healthy spring lunch special set for those more conscious of what they eat but are foodies at heart. The course starts with cream of clam soup followed by mixed greens with chicken and blue cheese dressing. Keeping with the Polynesian theme, the main course is Spanish mackerel with Hawaiian mango chutney in papaya sauce followed by Key lime pie, coffee or tea with and a fortune cookie. At only JY3900 per person, what better way to spend a leisurely afternoon with cherry blossoms in full bloom. This spring special lasts until June 2.

Trois CafE
Antique and simple furniture make this cafEincredibly relaxing. The sister store of Neuf cafEin Ebisu and the 4th branch to open following Omotesando's Nido Cafe and Daikanyama's O-CafE Trois Cafe, like its cousins, are not open for lunch. But come afternoon and evening, comfy sofas lure and beckon you to sit and sip some latte. Look out for specials on their homemade menu listed daily on a black board. Highlights include their cheesecake (JY500), grilled chicken (JY800) and unique peppermint-lemonade cocktail "Diablomant" (JY600).

Cheval D'Or
This New York meets Nishi Azabu fusion restaurant is the latest addition to the French/Asian dining scene. The modern menu combines the best of both cooking styles, and features light sauces made from juices and vinegars dressed up with oriental spices. You can order from their a la carte menu, but for variety's sake try the JY4800 pre-fixed course that changes daily. At 10pm, a huge screen appears out of nowhere and the latest flicks on DVD and video start to roll. This place is open until 4am. Don't forget to check out their cigar bar in the basement.
