The latest additions to Daikanyama's hot dining scene recently opened in the La Fuente complex (La Fuente Daikanyama bldg, 11-1 Sagaraku-cho, Shibuya-ku. Nearest stn: Daikanyama stn). We got the dish on the new arrivals.

Following their success in Nakameguro and Higashi-Azabu, the Cuomo brothers, Lello, Dino and Salavatore, have opened this third restaurant. These Napoli-born chefs' "slow food style" allows customers to enjoy their meal at a relaxed pace. An added treat is watching the pizza cooking on the lava rock grill. The Raffaele Completa set offers antipasto, pasta or risotto, a fish or meat dish and dessert (JY6000), while the Salvatore Completa set contains all the above dishes plus pizza (JY8000). A JY500 table charge and a ten percent service charge apply.

The BAR
Patrons can have a beer or their favorite cocktail inside The BAR, or at one of the seven two-chair tables on the terrace. Tinkling ivories on the grand piano add a Manhattan-ish mood to this upscale bar. Canapes of the day JY700, vegetable plate of the day JY1500, sushi The Bar-style JY1500, beer JY700, cocktails JY800.

An's origins lie in the renowned Roppongi members-only club XEX. Now the parent club's nigirizushi, seasonal goodies prepared on the charcoal grill, and quiet ambience are duplicated at this Japanese-style aburiyaki grill and sushi bar/restaurant. A set menu of fried appetizers, sashimi, grilled beef tongue, yakitori and organic vegetables with An's special miso sauce, oden and dessert is available for JY6000.

Fans of wiener schnitzel (veal cutlet) and tafelspitz (spiced beef and vegetable stew) don't need to hop a plane. The Westin Tokyo is bringing Viennese cooking to you. For nine more days, during the Austrian Food and Wine fair, Sous chef Robert Wieselthaler from Hotel Bristol, Vienna and Patissier Christian Pruckner from Hotel Imperial, Vienna take over The Terrace's kitchen. A buffet of over 25 items is on offer (lunch JY3500/dinner JY4500). To complement the fare, a selection of Austrian wines have been added to the beverage list.
