SHOP MANAGER
We' actually in the process of making new ones, but my company's meishi are always cute! Definitely, The Great Evil One has to be the most interesting person I've traded cards with-I don't give my meishi to just anyone!

TEXTILES
Describe my meishi? 50 for JY600. The most interesting person I've exchanged with had to be a blind textile dealer in Laos. I've never count how many I give out-at JY600 for 50 cards who cares?

SAGANO/
EDITOR AND CLUB ORGANIZER
My meishi looks like a playing card with a lot of stars on the back. I can never decide between simple or fancy, but always end up going extravagant! I once received a card from someone called Mr Fart. I also have one from Mr Burp. Once, when I was leaving Japan for a while, I just walked around Aoyama and gave them out to a whole bunch of people.

Everybody knows that you're no one without the card that reminds you and the rest of the world exactly who you are and just what the heck you're doing here. This week our roving reporter hit the streets to find out what your meishi are like. Who's the most interesting person you've carded? And how many do you dish out daily?

DIRECTOR
I shot the photo on the beach in Shimoda, put it on the meishi and swapped it with Masashi Murakami, a Major League baseball player in the ‘60s. Cool man, cool. The most I ever given out in one night? Twenty at the Winter Olympics final awards party-I was prepared to schmooze!

CLEOPATRA/
FULL-TIME CHILD
What's my meishi like? It has my name on it. The neatest person I've given it to is my Papa and somebody else who looked very interesting but I can't read, so I don't know who it was. The most I've ever given out in one night? Well, I go to bed quite early so no one.
