I' meeting a new friend it's a blind date! It's also my first date with a local, so I'm
a bit nervous! How do I make myself stick out in the crowd? I always wear a big smile on
my face and I try to match it with a funky bag. Tokyo has the best bags.

I'm here to meet my Shibuya shopping partner. Where are we going? Marui, of course! Then,
if I have any money left, I may pop into Loft and perhaps treat myself to a coffee at
Starbucks. It's easy to stick out - I'm a gaijin! But tall shoes help.

I'm here trying to get a few people together for a party. It's tonight at Club Asia. To
stick out I have my own personal sign. It says "Laugh Over." I made it myself
out of a Toyota hubcap!

Hachiko. Where better to meet people in Shibuya? Well, probably anywhere in fact. Let's
face it, you're only one of five thousand also arranging a rendezvouz at that particular
statue at that particular time. This week we look at who's meeting who, where they're
going and get some tips on how to make a needle shine in the Hachiko haystack.

I'm meeting my friends Clare and Mark and then we're going home. I stick out enough as it
is - just check out the picture!

I'm waiting for my friend Ura. We might go out to eat and then go to a club. How do I get
myself noticed? I'm American - that's usually enough!
