I' attracted to Odaiba for the modernist architecture. As for the shopping, I love Sports
Authority lots of great World Cup 2002 T-shirts. For a very cheap meal I recommend the
cheese and wine shops where you can indulge in the free samples oishii! The tackiest
thing about Odaiba has to be Venus Fort's Italian-style piazzas and statues though the
sky is beautifully blue and totally kawaii. I haven't as yet had any romance on the ferris
wheel but there's plenty of time.

I like to come to Odaiba just to hang out but today I've come to ride the ferris wheel
with my girlfriend. I think Odaiba is very kawaii. I've definitely experienced a romantic
moment or two on the ferris wheel.

I've come to check Rooms to Go and Tokyo Showroom. I really like Rooms to Go because it
has a good selection of interiors. The tackiest thing about Odaiba are the automatic
self-driven cars. Unfortunately, I've got no time for an interlude on the ferris wheel.

Think Odaiba and most people imagine
shopping and ferris wheels. But this is not just your average shopping experience - Venus
Fort, with its pre-fab expanse of neo-Italiana, represents the pinnacle of a Brave New
World of shopping mall kitsch. But is Odaiba tacky or kawaii? TC's
roving retailer headed out to ask the Odaiba faithful what attracts them to Tokyo Bay,
which are their favorite stores and if they've enjoyed a romantic interlude on the big
wheel.

We've come to Odaiba to see a film. We haven't seen many stores as yet but the cinema was
great. Odaiba is definitely more kawaii than tacky. Neither of us has taken a ride on the
ferris wheel but when we do anything could happen.

We've come to Venus Fort because it's a beautiful day to check out the fake sky. We don't
care much for the stores at Venus Fort as much as their light show. But Donatello has
great ice cream. We don't think Odaiba is tacky though maybe some of the people are. As
for a romantic interlude on the ferris wheel - maybe!
