For outdoor dining, you can' go past CafE8 because the food is wholesome and the
location is nicely removed from the hustle and bustle. Otherwise, I like my balcony since
its sunny, quiet and convenient. When its getting too hot I like to strip down and grease
up with a bottle of SPF30.

I like Hanezawa Garden in Hiroo because it's the ultimate posh urban oasis. Generally I'll
eat anywhere outdoors as long as the company is good. As a rule, if it's getting hot in
Shibuya I'll strip down but in Shinjuku I tend to cover up.

I love Aux Bacchanales for alfresco dining. I also like to eat and drink by the river in
Tamagawa because I can feel the sun, see the greenery and hear the river flow. Whether I
cover up or strip down under a hot sun depends on the mood I'm in.

Dining and wining in the summer sun is
one of life's great pleasures, even in Tokyo. With a hunger and thirst to match, TC's
scantily clad epicure went in search of the city's favored locations for feasting
alfresco. So where do you like to eat and drink outdoors? And when the UV's are getting a
bit strong on the terrace, do you tend to cover-up or strip down?

Our favored alfresco dining spots are Nolita and Bakery 632 in Harajuku, because they're
cheap and we can take our dogs. Summer is also great for beer gardens in Tokyo. When it
gets too hot outside, we like to strip down, and if possible, get naked.

Hanezawa Beer Garden in Hiroo and La Brasserie Bernard are my preferred outdoor eating and
drinking locations. Often I like to dine alfresco in Daikanyama so I can see all the
beautiful people. The minute it gets a little hot in the sun I strip down and try to stay
in the shade.
