I recently tried the Grand Arc Hanzomon Hotel. I also like "in f" in
Oizumi-Gakuen and my favorite spot is Aux Bacchanal CafE The most unusual mix I' found
is Indian and Japanese.

The hottest places I've been to recently are La Fee Delice and Roti. I think its good to
taste the foods of new cultures, and with more interaction you get new styles and types of
dishes. My favorite place is La Fee Delice in Harajuku because I come from Brittany, and
the food is typical of the region. The strangest combination for me is French food done in
a Japanese way.

Recently we tried Fujimama's in Omotesando - not new but classic and great vegetarian
food. Mostly great. Tableau in Daikanyama is our favorite Tokyo restaurant. It's good for
food and people-watching, too. Kitchen 5 has good Mediterranean food with a good choice of
vegetarian dishes. The most unusual combo we've come across was gyoza curry. It was
disgusting!

This week we sent our good-time guy to
pound the pavement in search of gourmets to get the buzz on the city's hottest dining
spots. We wanted to know what you think about the recent profusion of fusion, what your
favorite restaurants are and the bizarre culinary combos you've encountered.
NEALE AND UTAKO / ANALYSTS
We tried Also on Nisseki dori, and the food was great with lots of original
French-Japanese dishes. Normally fusion restaurants are good, with a wide selection and
reasonable prices. We really like Hanazushi on Nisseki dori - it's an excellent sushi
place with good prices. The weirdest thing we've found is spaghetti with pizza on top.

There's a Sri Lankan curry restaurant in Roppongi, but I don't remember the name - it was
hot. What's my opinion of the trend? Fuse me! My favorite restaurants are all the little
curry shops, and the most unusual combination I've had was a very nice Thai green curry
spaghetti.
