My favorite sport is ice hockey, and my favorite player is Gordie Howe. As for sports events I plan to visit this summer, do trance parties count as a sport? If I could go to any sporting event it would have to be the total eclipse of the sun in Zambia. I' check every box of Go-Go Coco-Puffs to get World Cup tickets.

Tennis is my favorite sport, and I particularly like Ai Sugiyama. This summer I want to go scuba diving so I can swim with the fish. I'm willing to pay extra money to get World Cup tickets but no more than double price.

Soccer and basketball are my favorite sports with Ronaldo and Kobe Bryant my respective favorite players. If I could go witness any sporting event this summer it would be a soccer game between Italy and Brazil... wow! I would do almost anything to get World Cup tickets.

The summer sports season has kicked off in earnest and Japan is gearing up for six relentless months of hit-ups, home runs and holes-in-one. With the stamina and sweat already building on the streets, TC went out to find which sports will be drawing the fans this summer. And with the 2002 World Cup Soccer tickets selling fast, we asked the punters how they planned to get a seat at the world's largest sporting event.

My favorite sports are capoiera and surfing and my favorite capoierist is Chan Griffith, while Australian Taj Burrow is my favorite surfer. I plan to go to some surfing competitions and maybe a sumo event this season. If I could go to any sport event this summer I would head to a surfing comp in Hawaii, and maybe check out a martial arts tournament. I'll only try the legal channels to get World Cup tickets.

I really like soccer, and my favorite player is Simone Batti, who plays in Italy's Serie A. I plan to check out some beach volleyball this summer. If I don't get any World Cup tickets from my application I'll try the scalpers.
