I play winter sports about once per month. I don' know any fancy moves. I like it indoors because it's not as cold as it is outside.

During the winter, I like to participate in winter sports about once per week. My most spectacular move? A single axel! Indoor ice skating is best because the ice is clean and pretty. Outside, the ice melts more, and you get all wet!

I like to participate in winter sports from the beginning of the season, right through to the end. I don't have any special moves. I like the indoor version because it's clean.

It's chilly outside, so many people are heading indoors - to ski and ice skate, that is. This week, our roving reporter headed to an ice rink and ski center, where he met some people. He wanted to get to know those Tokyo residents a little better, so to break the ice he asked them: How often do participate in winter sports? What's your most impressive move on the snow or ice? And do you prefer the indoor version to the real thing?

MAYA ENDO / PART-TIMER
I only get into winter sports when it's really cold outside. I can make lots of cool snowboard moves. I enjoy the indoor version because I don't have to worry about the weather getting too bad, and my friends and I can enjoy it all year round.

I only participate in winter sports during the winter. I don't have any particularly impressive moves on the snow or ice. I prefer the outdoor version because it's vast and I feel more relaxed.
