LOOKING GOOD
In store
Antique Andante
If you weren' looking for Antique Andante, it's highly unlikely that you'd come across
this tiny antique shop on your own. Hidden down an alley of Takeshita dori, Antique
Andante is totally inconspicuous. Except for the collection of porcelain vases outside the
door, and perhaps a kimono hanging from the door, you might miss it. Antique Andante makes
no bones about it's identity as an antique shop. Old jazz hits play softly in the
background, and everything from the most minuscule cordial cup to chests is marked with
dates as well as prices. An eclectic collection of antiquated items hang from the walls,
line the shelves and sit on a large wooden table that takes up most of the shop's floor
space. A cornucopia of yukata from the early 1900s, antique beaded bags, baskets, kimono,
sake sets, art deco cordial glasses and even old horseshoes should provide plenty to hunt
through.

Dancing Heart
Ethereal music fills the air of Dancing Heart providing the angelic inhabitants of the
store with a suitably heavenly atmosphere. From the cherubic Crowford porcelain liquid
soap dispenser (JY3800) to an embroidered angel CD case (JY4800), everything in sight is
adorned with cuteness. A whole shelf of flower fairy dolls (JY5800) keeps watch over the
large selection of jewelry that includes small cherub necklaces (JY5800) as well as a
chunkier more down to earth items. Perhaps the most prized purchase might turn out to be
the large feather angel wings modeled by the display mannequin. Don't worry, at JY48,000 a
pair they probably won't fly out of the store.
