All you can eat meat
Where' the beef?
Where? All around Tokyo, apparently. The myth of overpriced Japanese beef is
being blown away by a trend of all you can eat joints popping up all around the city.
There are various ways of getting your red meat rush. Shabu-shabu style you cook your meat
and veggies yourself in a bowl of boiling water at your table, before dipping it in miso
or soy sauces. Sukiyaki style beef is boiled nabe-style with vegetables, sugar and mirin
(a type of rice-based sweet liquid flavoring), before being dipped in raw egg and eaten
with rice. Here are a few places with good value shabu-shabu, sukiyaki or good ol'
yakiniku BBQ style all you can eat tabehodai to meet your meat requirements. Julia
