Japan and the UK get together on the dancefloor as Liverpool super club event Cream launches monthly nights at Yellow with an October 30 kickoff party - "Cream in Tokyo Launch Special" - featuring an appearance by Cream resident Seb Fontaine.

Voted time and again as one of the Top 10 DJs in the UK alongside the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine is often called the King of Tuff House. His singular brand of chunky beats has earned him a stellar reputation - even with England' hard-to-please clubbers through residencies including his own "Malibu Stacey" club nights at The Hanover Grand, the former "Frisky" Friday Nights at Ministry of Sound and more recently at the helm of Cream.

With over ten compilation albums to his name, Fontaine has, through his own Spot On record label, been behind the highly successful Stretch and Vern hits "I'm Alive" and "Come On." He has also more recently been chosen by the impeccable Boxed Records to launch its new mix CD series, Prototype. Cream has additionally just released the second in its Resident series of CDs, this one entitled Seb Fontaine.

Cream's Japan point man, Koji Tsubouchi, says that, with a BBC documentary crew and Cream president James Barton scheduled to come to Japan as well, expectations are that the night will prove to be something beyond the ordinary.

On the Halloween front, this year's nod (after TC's "Monday Monster Madness" party, of course) goes to Vision Network's "Halloween@Vision" event, which will make use of the entire Aoyama Vision complex including Las Chicas, Nude Lounge and D-Zone. With Vision's outlandishly fashionable staff making Halloween almost a daily affair, the complex is ideally set up to make the last Halloween of the century one to remember. On the program are scary movies, eerie decor, unexplained "strange sights," killer cocktails and devilish sounds from Radio:on DJs.
