Please tell us about your organization.
Bridal Produce is a wedding production company. A wedding is still thought to be one of
the most special days of a persons life and the wedding reception celebrates the
newly weds happiness and joy and should be full of little dramas that can be treasured
throughout their life together. Our company was established in 1971 and have been at the
forefront of producing memorable weddings for many couples. We usually set the wedding at
a hotel and provide a beautiful ceremony using background music, videos and photographs.
We also produce weddings at restaurants and are in the midst of producing clubhouse
weddings.
Do you arrange weddings for different religions and denominations?
We mainly produce weddings for couples with no particular religious denomination. Mostly
we do Japanese-style weddings where religion is not the focus of the ceremony, but we do
use churches for official wedding ceremonies. We also use the St. James Club-a five-storey
building that looks over Yokohama, which has a breathtaking atmosphere. The Club of
Excellent Coast, which will be finished in November in Motomachi, will also be an superb
addition to our facilities.
What kind of people are you seeking to employ?
We are looking to hire foreign bell-staff for customer service. Although recently it seems
that many couples are choosing to have their wedding ceremonies and receptions on a
weekday, the weekend and national holidays are still their number one choice for their
special day. Therefore we definitely need people who can commit to working on the
weekends. Basically, employees speak directly to the customers and listen to what they
want to do and do their best to help couples to realise their ideal wedding plans. Many of
the families and friends come a long way to attend these ceremonies so someone who is
extremely hospitable and friendly is a must-a good smile is very important.
Please tell us about salaries, responsibilities, etc.
The salaries will start from ¥1000 per hour and up for a bell-staff. Their main
responsibility is to greet and welcome the guests, families and the newlyweds, show them
the way, help drivers get to the parking lot, greet people coming in taxis, etc. Also,
supporting customers who are carrying a lot of luggage is a must. Each person will be
issued a stylish uniform designed by our own designer so it will not be your usual drab
uniform. Working hours depend on the days. On weekdays, it depends on when ceremonies are
scheduled but the weekends are extremely busy and employees have to work a 10am to 6pm
shift, but there might be overtime.
